Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. It is a holistic system for balancing, healing & harmonising all aspects of the person - body, mind, emotions & spirit.

We all know about the physical body of blood & bones, but beyond that is our energy body otherwise know as the auric field. Our energy body contains chakras, energy centres, energy channels and meridians. When you’re thinking about energy, think about the feeling of butterflies you feel when you’re nervous or excited & then think about the saying “trust your gut” or ”your gut instinct” these energies can’t be touched or even seen but we all know them & we all feel them. If we tune in we soon realise energy is all around us & in every interaction we have.

Think of your classic facial or massage but with so much moremagic!

Sarah follows a specific protocol that she has perfected over the years. Reiki is channelled during various parts of your facial treatment with a focus during the massage & pressure point scalp massage. During your facial or massage Sarah will use a variety of products, crystals, tools & massage techniques to achieve your desired goals and drop you into a deep state of rest and relaxation whilst tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system.

The treatment room, tools, equipment & products will all be cleansed & charged with healing energy before each appointment. At the end of every treatment you will have the opportunity to reflect over a glass of crystal infused water and the opportunity to connect with a deck of oracle cards.

A sound bath is a deeply meditative practise that aims to relax the nervous system and calm the mind. Using a combination of sounds and tools to drop you into a state of blissful rest…similar to the feeling you get just before you drift off to sleep!

Sarah uses traditional Tibetan singing bowls during her sound bath along with other tools to produce a truly immersive experience.

These can be given in a group setting or offered as a 1-1 healing session.

Sarah has been in the beauty & wellness industry for 20 years, having qualified in beauty in 2006 & 2007. Working first for Clarins & then starting her career as a make up artist with Laura Mercier. After gaining experience in various spas and beauty roles, Sarah turned her focus towards more holistic treatments gaining an in-depth understanding whilst working at The Organic Pharmacy.

Sarah went on to manage spas & beauty salons across London, whilst training teams in classic beauty treatments focusing on facials, body treatments & intimate hot wax.

After a serious illness & hospital stay, Sarah needed to take her healing into her own hands and decided to study nutrition at the highly acclaimed Leiths School Of Food And Wine where her career as a private chef began, catering to supper clubs, private dinner parties & yoga & wellness retreats across the globe. Sarah spent the next 10 years as a private chef in London and Europe sharing the wisdom of food as medicine.

Sarah found the healing power of sound during a particularly intense bout of depression. Leaving the house only if absolutely necessary and to go to her weekly sound bath where she could seek respite, if only for an hour. It was in those peaceful few moments, between sleep and waking that she promised herself, if she were to ever recover from depression she would learn all there was and share the healing power of sound with others in need. This soon became reality!

Sarah is constantly learning and evolving and has most recently completed her Yoga Nidra teacher training as well as her Reiki Master Teacher Training.

Having recently moved out of London with her husband, Sarah has now created LIBRA LOUNGE - offering holistic facials, massage, sound & energy healing for those seeking soulful self-care.

Well, everyone is different so it really varies!

During facials, body work or energy healing we are working not only the physical body but also the energy body. Because we are creating shifts energetically you may feel emotional, like a release, free, lighter, as if a weight has been lifted, you may also have an epiphany about an issue that’s been coming up for you, you may feel deeply connected to yourself and higher purpose, tired or even energetic! The key is to feel it all & allow yourself the space & grace to process the experience. You will be given aftercare tools to support you on your journey after the treatment and I will be on hand if you would like to discuss anything that comes up for you.

Your skin will feel hydrated, toned and silky smooth with a lit from within glow. Some clients will experience a flushed complexion due to the stimulation from massage. This is totally normal and will reduce with 24hrs.

If you’re coming to see me for a massage you will feel centred, grounded and relaxed.

This really depends on your goals, your at home skincare routine and lifestyle. I like to remind my clients that one facial is a treat, whereas 6 facials is a treatment! Consistency really is key.

Most clients will come anywhere between every 3-6 weeks & we can create a realistic at home skincare routine for you to maintain results between visits.

If you have an event coming up, say, a wedding then I would normally recommend a course of 4-6 facials every 3-4 weeks.

In terms of body work and massage most clients like to come every 3-4 weeks.

Sarah uses all vegan products, that are as kind to the animals as they are to us humans.

Please note this is a small, independent business & late cancellations have a detrimental affect on our survival. With this in mind we kindly ask for 48hrs notice if you would like to cancel. If you are a “no show” or cancel after the 48hr policy you may be charged the full treatment price.
